Hi, I'm Leann Thompson, a Northern California artist specializing in charcoal and graphite drawings. My work is inspired by the quiet beauty found in everyday moments - whether it's the soulful gaze of a Highland cow, the delicate curves of a flower, or the strength and grace of the human spirit. Through rich contrasts and careful attention to detail, I strive to create artwork that feels both timeless and deeply personal. Although I spent many years as a professional photographer, drawing has always been my first creative love. After returning to art in 2024, I began sharing my work publicly and have been honored to receive recognition through juried exhibitions, gallery shows, and award winning pieces. Each drawing is created by hand using archival materials and a dedication to craftsmanship, with the hope that it brings beauty, connection, and a sense of peace to the spaces it calls home.
